This candy cane is made of a foam tube wrapped in peppermint-striped fabric and curled around itself into a sweet spiral. A velvet bow sits at the base, and the stick is decorated with red and iridescent glittered candy-stripes.  A light dusting of clear glitter gives this sucker a sugared look.
